about me
SharePoint is what I do (plus .Net and web development, including jQuery and HTML5), and have been doing for a number of years. My experience with the product range stretches back over 10 years, as the architect of an intranet product based on SharePoint 2001. Since then, I have worked as a contractor or as an independent consultant for local, national and international organisations, including 6 months for Microsoft in the UK.
In addition to creating solutions, I like to help build community around the technology - we all benefit from learning from each other. I am the leader of the Christchurch SharePoint User Group, the communications manager of NZ MS Communities (the non-profit incorporated society which helps to promote and run Microsoft User Groups arround New Zealand), and have presented at conferences on a variety of SharePoint topics.
